Theater Director and Creator

Before Whom to Bow Down?
Five actors are searching for an answer to an age-old question: Why laws are important for our well being? When does disobedience to the law become an ethical act? Is there a universal sense of right and wrong? Through a sequence of fragmentary encounters between Socrates and Edward Snowden, Rosa Parks and Antigone, the performance higlihghts critical moments of ethical deliberations taken from history, literature, and philosophy. Facing the tyrant, the insubordinate,
the legislator and the obedient, we are invited to think of why doing the right thing always invokes contradicting interpretations.
